Robinha Pink came to us from the subtropics of the Southern Hemisphere. Like all legumes, it is an excellent nitrogen fixer and pioneer plant. It enriches the soil with nitrogen, improving conditions for other, more fastidious species, such as fruit trees. It tolerates both winter frosts and prolonged summer droughts. There are more than 700 varieties in the culture.
She is not as powerful a honey plant as the White Pseudoacacia. Its flowers, most often, do not have a smell at all, although bees and other insects - pollinators, unmistakably find them. But, Pink Acacia redeems everything with its beautiful and long flowering, which has up to 5 waves, throughout the summer! It tolerates the gassed atmosphere of the city, so it is often used in urban landscaping.
The branches of brown color are covered with a sticky composition, which is also collected and used in their life by bees and other insects. It gives few seeds, but is extremely successfully propagated by root offspring.
